Sono stato a Torino appena prima di Natale. Una città nella quale non ero mai stato, e non allo Stadio Comunale per un concerto di Bruce Springsteen e al E-Street Band tantissimi anni fa.

Per anni ho pensato ad una città industriale e grigia. Poi un paio di anni fa in amico mi ha detto: “È una bellissima città”. Finalmente l’ho visitata con mia figlia. Che sorpresa. Che bella città, elegante.

I was in Turin just before Christmas. It was a city I had never visited before, except for a Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band concert at the Stadio Comunale many years ago.

For years, I had thought of it as a grey industrial city. Then, a couple of years ago, a friend told me, “It’s a beautiful city”. I finally visited it with my daughter. What a surprise. What a beautiful city.
