Winter cottage
It has been snowing a lot during the last few days. The snow has brought silence in the forest. The wind has stopped blowing. There is an incredible peace if one stops for a moment to listen to the silence.

Giornalista e scrittore di sinistra del quale ricordo qualche programma televisivo anni fa. Forse Rai 3. L’idea del libro e’ semplice: ripercorrere 30 anni di storia attraverso i fatti principali accaduti anno dopo anno. Quanti abitanti ha Jakarta? C’è chi dice 10.000.000, forse 12.000.000. Altri dicono che se si considera la periferia che si estende a ovest, sud e ad est si arriva a 25.000.000. Incontro con Bartolo a Melbourne
Ieri ho incontrato Bartolo qui a Melbourne. È stato un incontro innaspettato dopo l’arrivo da Hong Kong, via Adelaide. All’aereporto ho preso lo SkyBus che porta al terminal in centro: Southern Cross. Lì hanno smistato i turisti diretti a vari alberghi della città. Il mio è Rydges in Swanston Street.
