Silliman beach in black & white
Sunset at Silliman beach in Dumaguete, a photo by Arnaldo Pellini on Flickr. Went for my usual Sunday evening walk at Silliman beach, nearby our house here in Dumaguete. There was a great autumn sunset light that rapidly faded behind Mount Talinis behind the city and draw nice shadows on the beach and towards the sea. Took this picture handheld with a 35mm 1.8G at f20 lens from the north side of the beach.

Nice coincidence here in Dumaguete. The other night I put in alphabetical order the many books I have at home. I first divided them by language: Italian section, English and then Finnish. Then I ordered them alphabetically: first the Italian and then the ones in English. Bella coincidenza di casualità qui a Dumaguete. L’altra sera ho messo in ordine alfabetico i molti libro che ho qui in casa. Li ho prima divisi per lingua: sezione italiana, inglese, e finlandese. Poi ho ordinato in ordine alfabetico prima quelli in italiano e poi quelli in inglese. Fa uno strano effetto leggere delle vicende in Libia e di quanto queste tocchino le Filippine, nonostante i 10.754 Km che separano Manila da Tripoli. Il Dipartimento per gli Affari esteri ha diramato un comunicato nel quale dichiara di avere evacuato fino ad ora 1.327 lavoratori filippini.
