This photo was taken last July while we were at our summer cottage in Eastern Finland. I liked to wait for the time of the day when clouds would appear and create nice contrast with the water of the lake.

I took this photo from the pier of our cottage in Finland, last July. It must have been around 10:00pm. The clouds moved slowly as there was little or no wind. Enough time to capture their reflection in the calm water of the lake. 15 years, today. This is for you, with love.

I took this photo from the pier of our cottage in Finland, last July. It must have been around 10:30pm. There was no wind. The water was smooth as a mirror. All very peaceful.
London greens
The end of June in London was incredibly hot. For the week I was there the sky was blue most of the time. No clouds in sight and very low humidity. Every morning I walked through Brockwell Park to get to Herne Hill railway station and catch the train to Blackfriars Bridge. I was walking through early, at around 7 or 7:30. The colours were crisp.
