let’s break the lockdown with some memories. I travelled to Sicivil in April 208 with my Finnish relatives. I will post photos from that trip together in parallel with the images from the lockdown taken here at home.

Originally built in Romanesque style, the cathedral has been restored and extended several times, with Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque elements. Construction began in 1107, but the works were damaged and halted after an earthquake in 1117. Construction resumed in 1129, and the building was probably finished in 1160-1170.   Fa uno strano effetto leggere delle vicende in Libia e di quanto queste tocchino le Filippine, nonostante i 10.754 Km che separano Manila da Tripoli. Il Dipartimento per gli Affari esteri ha diramato un comunicato nel quale dichiara di avere evacuato fino ad ora 1.327 lavoratori filippini.
