Back to English this week.
We want to go to the seaside for a few days. So I look at the region’s map of the Youth Hostels, and I find a hostel a couple of hours by train away in the post city of Yuasa.
The journey is on a local train with a few carriages. The track follows narrow valleys along steep mountains.
We reach our destination—a small railway station with just two tracks. The taxi brings us to a village near Yuasa, Suhara and leaves us in front of a narrow alley. The driver points his finger to the alley and towards the hostel entrance.
We fill out the registration card. Then, put our bags on the tatami in the family room on the first floor and leave to see the sea.
